The challenge of global human rights

Global human rights are the product of human knowledge.  While Islamic human rights are derived from revelation and Quran.  which has classified men and women to different degrees.  The right to be protected against the acceptance of international human rights and international human rights conventions in the constitutions of Islamic countries is to challenge them.  In such a case, we will face distorted global human rights that will be subject to Islamic human rights.  This is what will be the product of those dictatorial governments that mock human rights with an Islamic suffix.

Achieving a human right, not necessarily an Islamic one, and enjoying it, requires effort and costs.  In this way, the more this effort is, the more effective it will be.  In this context, this is a general discussion about the right of man, where he is the creator and a creature called man.  As long as this relationship is two-way between the creator and the creature, there is no question about the right.  Because such a relationship and right that exists in this is a heart and spiritual relationship that is formed and flows in the innermost part of man with his God, which takes place in the form of secret, need and worship in every religion.  In the article “Human Rights;  From Adam to Eve” in Aftab magazine, it is stated: “So the right is originally from God and human rights such as the right to life, dignity, freedom, etc. are all credit rights and they are a ray of the original right, that is, God’s right.”1 Undoubtedly, when  Man’s relationship with his God should be based on the religious orders he believes in, such relationships can also be seen in his social life.  Therefore, a person who respects the right between man and God and does not violate it, respects the rights of others in the society in social relations with other fellow human beings.  There will be no problem in the society until this point.  But the problem arises when a person is raised and educated in such a way that the right is a matter of value for him.

In such a situation, it is no longer about the right of man against man.  Because this person has no relationship with God and does not know the right that the creator has over his creation.  Therefore, such a person will not pay attention to the rights of others in his social relations.  This is where the issue of recognizing individual rights as a necessity is discussed.  A person with this condition should recognize his rights.  As long as the society is not legalized by the realization of the law, there is a widespread violation of human rights.  In the article “Human Rights;  From Adam to Eve” in Aftab magazine stated: “Some religious theoreticians have modified this opinion and believe that while religious orders should be followed in general principles, the rights of individuals are independent of the difference in their degrees of faith.”2  Religious orders regarding individual rights can be presented differently in each religion.  While the rights of the individual in a pluralistic society, the principle of humanity should be considered.  It is possible for a follower of a religion to pretend to be religious and in this way get privileges from the religious government.  And on the other hand, another person should live honestly and openly in this society and not take advantage of the religious authority.  Therefore, a person’s rights in a wide range, which includes social, political, cultural, economic, etc., are separate from his degree of religiosity and faith.

Nasr Hamed Abu Zaid, “In modernity and democracy, the privilege and virtue of a civilization?”  has stated: “It is very difficult to accept the existence of a religious state in the twenty-first century.  A government built on the basis of a religious ideology causes deprivation and isolation of other religious groups… Such governments do not allow democracy and human rights: they only support those who have accepted the official belief and other citizens have similar rights.  They are not entitled.” 3 The religious government inevitably deals with issues that are controversial in a society of religious, religious and cultural pluralism.  Because this is the nature of such a government.  The purpose of such a government may be good in its own opinion.  But the reality of the communities where the religious government is the ruler is different from the fact that the rights of all citizens who belong to different religions, beliefs and cultures can be fulfilled and not violated with a government with such characteristics.  On the other hand, the amount of people’s faith is not something that can be measured.  Rather, it depends on the commitment and honesty of a person to respect the rights of others.  Because a person’s faith in God and religious orders is a spiritual and heart relationship.  While respecting the rights of others and respecting them are the relationships that exist between people in society.  Therefore, no matter how legal this relationship is, it contributes to the legalization of the society to the same extent and creates grounds for legalism in the society.  In such a situation, human rights will be associated with a good and successful process.  This situation helps a person to recognize his rights, which he was unaware of until now.  In the article “Human Rights;  From Adam to Eve” it is stated in Aftab magazine: “And human dignity is a common source in Islam and the West for recognizing human rights.”4

In the field of human rights, the importance of which has always been emphasized is the right of the individual.  Meanwhile, human dignity can be a part of a person’s rights that includes his personality.  Universal human rights emphasize all the rights that a person should have.  Human dignity is a right that can be discussed and pursued in the scope of time and space.  While in some cases, human rights need a special review at a certain time and place.  The social status of any society reflects the status of human rights in that society.  However, the recognition of individual rights is not limited to a specific time and place and is a trans-regional category.  The process of realizing human rights is successful when a person understands this importance.  Because without the recognition of the individual’s rights, the process of human rights has faced a challenge called the lack of self-awareness of the individual’s real rights.  This situation has been an important factor in the failure of the realization of human rights in societies with such a situation and social structure.  In the best form and situation, human rights have been successful in the implementation process when the individual has recognized his rights.

In the conclusion of this essay, we come to the conclusion that in the implementation of universal human rights, we have faced humans and more humans and in Islamic human rights, they are classified with humans.  Humanity is divided into the first world, the second world and the third world in the existence of global human rights.  While it was made for humanity.  The addressee of Islamic human rights is the Muslim human being.  But Muslim people are also classified.  Rights and rights that are strongly ideological.  I will address this topic in another essay.
