This council has said that it has emphasized empowering women to acquire useful knowledge in various fields and has asked the Taliban group to open the gates of schools and universities to girls.
This council has said: “This council recommends that countries and Muslims around the world allow women to learn useful knowledge in various fields and not deprive them of this.”
The Council of Islamic Jurisprudence has considered the role of women in serving the society to be significant and added that women and men are equal “except in exceptional cases based on their nature”.
In this regard, nearly two months have passed since the beginning of the new academic year in Afghanistan; However, there is still no news about the reopening of schools and universities for girls, and this has faced strong reactions from the international community, and a number of international organizations and institutions want the Taliban group to remove the restrictions on education and allow girls to study.
But; The Taliban group has banned girls and women from education, study and work in Afghanistan for nearly three years and said that the rights of girls and women in Afghanistan are protected based on Islamic Sharia.
However, schools for girls above the sixth grade were closed from the 24th of Asad 1400, after the Taliban took over Afghanistan, and universities were also closed for girls at the end of the month of Arc 1401, and this caused the strong reactions of the international community and institutions. included international
But; In this regard, the Taliban always said that closing the gates of schools and universities to girls is temporary and will be reopened soon. But three years have passed since these talks and there is still no word about the reopening of schools and universities in Afghanistan.
