Reporters Without Borders filed a complaint against the Israeli army at the International Court of Justice in The Hague

The Reporters Without Borders organization has registered its third complaint against Israeli army journalists in the International Court of Justice.
According to Afghan News; The Reporters Without Borders organization has announced on Monday (26 May) that it has officially filed a complaint against the Israeli army due to the killing and wounding of a number of journalists in Gaza.
Agency France-Presse has reported that this journalists’ rights organization, in its complaint to the International Criminal Court in The Hague, has requested to file a war crime case against the Israeli army for the death of at least nine Palestinian journalists in Gaza.
This organization has asked the prosecutor of the Criminal Court to investigate a possible war crime by the Israeli army that has led to the death and wounding of at least 9 Palestinian journalists since December 15, 2023.
Reporters Without Borders has said: It has logical reasons that show that the Israeli army killed some journalists and some other journalists were victims of the Israeli army to civilians.
According to Antoine Bernard, deputy director of Reporters Without Borders, those who kill journalists are “attacking people’s right to access information.”
The Hague International Criminal Court was established to deal with the crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and the crime of aggression based on the “Rome Charter” passed in 1998.
Although Israel and America signed the “Rome Charter”, but; By refusing to finalize it, they did not become members of this court.
This is despite the fact that in the last eight months, more than a hundred journalists have lost their lives in Gaza, and the New York-based Committee to Protect Journalists has announced the number of victims to be 107.
